Depression

Depression can take on many forms. For some the signs are clear while others may feel generally unhappy without being able to explain why. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms you may benefit from therapy to treat depression.

  • - Feelings of sadness
  • - Crying spells for no reason
  • - Frustration or irritability over small matters
  • - Insomnia or excessive sleeping
  • - Loss of energy, smallest of tasks seem overwhelming
  • - Trouble thinking, concentrating, remembering or making decisions
  • - Feelings of worthlessness, guilt or blaming yourself

Anxiety

Anxiety is often a symptom of depression, underlying relationship issues or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Symptoms of anxiety can present as feeling apprehensive, powerless or having a sense of impending danger, panic or doom. Anxiety also is experienced physically such as: increased heart rate, rapid breathing, sweating, trembling, or feeling weak.
